“A few weeks ago we began seeing humidity spikes in our warehouse out of the acceptable range, and since we are ISO certified it's a significant issue.  We were scratching our heads trying to figure out what was going on until our facilities supervisor spent an hour in the unoccupied space on the weekend and made a keen observation.   After turning off two of the four heat pumps, the space cooling was satisfied.  The problem turned out to be overcooling in the wake of the lighting retrofit.  The heat load from the metal halide fixtures was gone and we had been overcooling the space!

Today we are operating on 1/2 the cooling capacity we had been, evidence that the program is working.  Oh, and he says he felt like a rock star having the lights come on in front of him as he walked through the warehouse (from the new lighting controls).”
